About the Partnership


CIESC and the Indiana Department of Education Office of eLearning formed a strategic partnership in April 2016 to launch several initiatives.  This partnership is a part of the IDOE Office of eLearning strategy for building innovation capacity through educational technology.  The three innovative initiatives are the eLearning Leadership Cadre (eLLC), Administrator's Focus Forum, and LEAD IN.  

The eLearning Leadership Cadre is a collaboration of Indiana's most innovative leaders in education.  In these fast-changing times, this talented cohort will focus on strategic components of 21st century teaching and learning.  Members are ambassadors of some of the best work going on in educational technology in the state.  CIESC will host and help facilitate the meetings.

The  Focus Forum is a professional development opportunity for administrators, district leaders, and change makers from schools across Indiana.  These free two-day sessions will focus on building awareness and skills, finding resources, and understanding current trends in instructional technology to be an innovative leader for today's learner. 


LEAD IN is designed for  technology coaches, technology integration specialists, or teacher leaders who support digital transformation in their district.  This one-day workshop will lead participants on a journey to look at the why, what, and how of incorporating the ISTE Standards, the Future Ready initiative, and best-practices in coaching and leading others to implement educational change.  Spend a day networking, learning, and sharing ideas to take back to your school or district!

BLLivelogoNewBlended Learning Live! is a free event for public schools sponsored by the Indiana Department of Education through its strategic partnership with CIESC. Best-selling co-author of Blended, Heather Staker, will lead a 2-day event to help 20-25 district teams to implement either a new student centered pilot program or plan to expand an existing model.
